Bangkok's Monster Market

Saturday morning Marian and I went to the Chatuchack (JJ) Market for a day of shopping. JJ Market is the King of markets. It's enormous. If you want to buy it, there is someone here selling it. Everything from household items, crafts, pets, used clothing, brand name knock-offs, shoes, alligator purses, and tourist knickknacks to glow signs.

No household items were

purchased; I was really tempted though. Even an avid coffee drinker would start drinking tea if they had a set like the purple one here.

After three hours - low on cash and near exhaustion - we opted to head home without exploring the entire market. JJ Market will have to be a shopping excursion spread over more than one weekend.
