Food Adventures

I continue with my account of Rory's attempts to order Western food in Thailand.

This morning he had French toast in a restaurant that we are quite sure is owned by a Brit. It doesn't quite come out in the photo, but the result was bread dipped in egg and then deep-fried. As Rory appropriately put it, he had received "French-fried toast". It could be a misinterpretation by the cook, but it has also occurred to me that the British, who adore to deep-fry things, may actually prepare French toast in this manner at home as well.

Needless to say it was incredibly greasy.
