Bocas Del Toro and Bastimentos

Bocas Del Toro is a state that lies along the Caribbean Sea, with a capital of the same name located on Isla Colon, just off the coast. We spent a few days in the capital, including a cycling day trip to Boca Del Drago and then two nights in Bastimentos, on Isla Bastimentos. Both Bocas Del Toro and Bastimentos were incredibly  hot and humid, with pouring rain each night. It was very hot and dry in Santa Fe and at Mamellena Ecolodge (previous posts). We decided that Boquete was the most comfortable climate we experienced in Panama with daily highs in the mid-twenties and bearable humidity.
